The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands in partnership with Ikaika `Ohana, AO714 Kona,
L.P. and its property management company ThirtyOne50 Management LLC is excited to offer 24
residential homes in the La’i Opua Village 4 Akau subdivision on Hawaii Island. This offering
is available to applicants on the Hawaii Island-wide Residential Wait List with application dates
up to June 30, 2022. This offering is also being made available to Undivided Interest (UI) Lessees
for La`i Opua Villages 4 & 5, however it requires a rescission of your UI lease to convert you to
an applicant status.

UNDIVIDED INTEREST LESSEE RESCISSION REQUIREMENT
The rental project is for applicants on the Hawaii Island-wide Residential Wait List ONLY.
Therefore, if you decide to pursue this offering you will need to rescind your La`i Opua Undivided
Interest Lease and convert your status to a waitlist applicant with no guarantee that you will be
able to select one of the rental homes. Once your status is changed to “Applicant” you will need
to meet the terms and conditions of the rental eligibility and application process. Again, there is
no guarantee you will be able to select a lot in La`i Opua Village 4 Akau and you will not be
able to restore your UI Lease.
RESPONSE & UI RESCISSION FORM DUE BY APRIL 8, 2023
As an Undivided Interest Lessee, if you decide you want to pursue this offering you must mail the
Response and Rescission Forms to the DHHL postmarked on/by APRIL 8, 2023, or sooner, or you
will be automatically deferred from this offering.

If you are not interested in this offering, please indicate that on the Response Form and mail it to the
address above. If you are deferred from this offering, you will remain an Undivided Interest Lessee
in the La`i Opua Villages IV and V subdivision.
The Response Form is only an indication of interest and does not serve as confirmation of any
prequalification for this project. Those who submit the Response Form by the due date will be placed
on an “Interested” list. More information will be provided at the orientation meeting on April 8,
2023.

The orientation meeting will be hosted onsite and virtually and will provide you with information
about this project such as home models, pricing, financial qualification requirements, lot selection
process, etc.
