Services provided by the British Consulate General’s consular section:
Assistance if you are:
Hospitalised, a victim of crime, arrested/detained, destitute, otherwise distressed.
Emergency Travel Documents (ETD)
If your passport is lost, stolen, damaged, full, expired, or has fewer than 6 months’ validity.
Notarial services
Certified true copies, letters for Certificate of No Criminal Conviction from Hong Kong Police,
oaths, declarations and affidavits, witness signatures (NB we cannot issue notarial acts in
certain cases, e.g. if for use in Hong Kong. If in doubt, please call or email us for advice.)
Note that you must make an appointment to obtain an ETD or notarial service.
