unpluggingtheironfromthewalloutlet.
3. Donotholdtheironwhenunplugging
from the electrical socket.
Theinternalsteamchamberinthesoleplatemayhavemineraldeposits
overme,dependingonthehardnessofyourwaterweprefermixing
50%whitevinegarand50%boledwater.
YoucanushoutthemineralbuildupbyrepeatedlypressingtheSteam
Burstbuonunlwaterbeginstodripheavilyoutoftheboomof
thesoleplate.
Youmaywanttodothisoverasinkordrain.Theironshouldbehot
whenyoudothissothatanyexcesswatercanquicklyevaporate.
Whiledoingthispleasetakecareofyourhands.
Toensureopmalsteamproducon,thesteamvalveshouldberegularly
clearedofaccumulateddebrisandminerals.Thisisdonebymovingthe
steamselectorbackandforthfromtheotothemaxsteamsengs
severalmes.
Ifit’saTG1600Gen1thenpleasefollowaresetbyunpluggingtheiron
fromthewallandtogglingthesteamandI-touchswitch2-3mes.
Ifit’saTG1600Gen2thenpleasefollowaresetbyunpluggingtheironfrom
thewallandtogglethesteamselectorfor2-3mesifitslldoesnotwork.
Note:Irondoesnotproduceconnuoussteamwhentheliersareraised
up.Anotherwayistogiveanopontoturnothesteamselectorwhenit’s
raisedup,sothattheconnuoussteamstops,ifthecustomerisnotwilling
tousethatthenpleasereplaceit.
Whentheironisorhasbecomecompletelydryitcantakeafewmoments
tostartsteaming.Theironwillneedtobeprimed,here
arethestepsyoushouldfollowtostartupconstantsteam:
1. Slidethesteamselectortonosteam.
2. Filltheironcarefullywithregulartapwaternohigherthan
the“max”line.
3. Plugtheironinandturnthefabricselectorto“coon/linen”,
theindicatorlightwillashgreen.
4. Whentheironishotandtheindicatorissolidgreen,slide
thesteamselectortomaximumsteam.
5. Litheiron,thefeetwillretract,holdtheironparallelover
acloth,movetheironbackandforwardasifironing.
(Or iron on the cloth if easier)
6. Aerafewmoments,theironshouldsteam
If there is sll no steam, here are a few ‘tricks’ you can try
● Pressthesteamburstbuonafewmeswhileholdingit
abovetheironingsurfaceandlngtheironbackafew
degreestowardstheheeloftheiron.
● Whileholdingtheironhorizontally,movethesteamselector
backandforthacoupleofmes.
● Whileholdingtheironhorizontally,carefullyopenthell
doorandgentlyrocktheironbackandforth.
Remembertoclosethedoor.
Thisguideisforusingtheironfortherstmeoraerstorage.
Oncesteamproduconstartsitwillgenerallyimprovewithuse.
Very Imp:Makesurethesteamselectorandfabricselectorsareatthe
correctsengortheironwillnotmakesteam.
4. PleaseDONOTusedislledwater.
Werecommendusingnormaltapwater
orspringboledwater.
5. Pleaseensureyouhavelledthe
watertanktomaxlineelseitwill
leakoroverow.
6. MakesureNOTtopressthesteam
burstbuonwhenwaterisinthetank
andtheironisnothot.Whenitwarms
upsomeliquidwatermightescapefrom
whenpressingthesteamburstbuon
whiletheironiscold.Sobesuretonot
warmuptheironovergarmentsthat
cannotgetwetifyouareunsureifthe
buonswerepressedwheninstorage.
7. ***VeryIMPORTANT***
Ironliersshouldbeout(Ironraisedup)
whenyouarenotemptyingthewater
tankandthesteamandfabricselectors
needtobeturnedowhennotinuse.
Steam/Spray Buon Stuck Auto shut-o issue
Insuchcases,wemayaskthecustomertoseeifthespraybuon
canbepulledoutandagainputitback,ifsll,thisdoesnotwork
weneedtoreplaceit.
Thismeanswhentheironisnotturningowhenit’sidlefor30mins.
Insuchcases,weneedtoensuretoeducatethecustomerifthereisany
interferenceduringthatmewhenit’sleuntouched,ifsll,theredlight
isnotashingweneedtoreplaceit.

Thequickestwaytoxthiswouldbetoputtheironatitshighestsengs
andthenpressthesteamburstseveralmes,whichshouldtakecareofthe
issue,ifnotwewillreplaceit.
For gen 1 TG1600/1100/1050/1250
1. MakesuretheITouchbuonissettooposion.
2. Turnothesteamselector,andfabricselector,andthen
unplugtheunitfromthewall.
3. ToggletheItouchbuon2-3mes,withoutbeingpluggedin.
4. PlugbacktheIronintothepoweroutlet.
5. Alsobeforepluggingbacktheironpleasetrytocleanthe
soleplateandthefeetoftheiron.
6. Oncedoneplugintheironbacktothepower.
For gen 2 TG1600 Pro Plus
1. Pluginyourironandputitonthesengsyouwishtousethem.
2. Turnothesteamselectorandfabricselector.Oncedone,
unplugtheironfromthewalloutlet.
3. Togglethesteamselector,otoamaximum,3-4mes,and
leaveitontheo.
4. Rotatethefabricselector,otoLinen/Coon,3-4mes,andleave
itontheo.Allthisneedstobedonewiththeironunplugged.
5. Waitfor2minutesandlettheironresthorizontally.
6. Beforeyouplugitbackin,pleasegrabthehandleandlitheiron
horizontallyandmoveitfromletorightandviceversaacouple
ofmesandthenrestitagaininthehorizontalposion.
7. Plugintheironandputitonmaximumsteamand
coon/linensengs.
Pleaseaskthecustomertoheattheiron,onceit’sheatedwecanuseaso
clothandwipeanyfabricstuckonthesoleplate,pleasenotethisprocess
canbeusedforceramicsoleplates,whichmeansthiswillbeapplicablefor
theGen2TG1600andMiniProjectirons.
ForTG1600Gen1orotherTGmodels,werecommendusingahot-iron
soleplatecleanerknownasFaultless(thesamecompanythatmakesstarch)
sellsagreathot-ironcleaner.
This is a real case when the customer complains about the black mark on
the soleplate liers.
Beforewereplaceitforthecustomer,pleasetrythestepsbelow.
Soluon:Usertocleanwithacoonswabthesootonthesurface(when
cold),itshouldremedytheproblem.Iftheyneedtowettheswab,thisisok
asitcomesoeasilyandwilldryquicklywhenheated.
For gen 1 TG1600/1100/1050/1250
1. MakesuretheITouchbuonissettooposion.
2. Turnothesteamselector,andfabricselector,andthen
unplugtheunitfromthewall.
3. ToggletheItouchbuon2-3mes,withoutbeingpluggedin.
4. PlugbacktheIronintothepoweroutlet.
5. Also,beforepluggingbacktheironpleasetrytocleanthe
soleplateandthefeetoftheiron.
6. Oncedoneplugintheironbacktothepower.
For gen 2 TG1600 Pro Plus
1. Pluginyourironandputitonthesengsyouwishtousethem.
2. Turnothesteamselectorandfabricselector.
Oncedone,unplugtheironfromthewalloutlet.
3. Togglethesteamselector,otoamaximum,3-4mes,
andleaveitontheo.
4. Rotatethefabricselector,otoLinen/Coon,3-4mes,
andleaveitontheo.Allthisneedstobedonewith
theironunplugged.
5. Waitfor2minutesandlettheironresthorizontally.
6. Beforeyouplugitbackin,pleasegrabthehandleandlithe
ironhorizontallyandmoveitfromletorightandviceversa
acoupleofmesandthenrestitagaininthehorizontalposion.

Ifthecustomercomplainsaboutthesame,pleaseconrmifthe
customerisusingitasdryiron,ifsoatmestheplascsmell
couldbewhatthecustomerclaimsasaburningsmell.However,
ifthecustomeruseswatereventhoughexperiencingthesame
burningsmell,weneedtoreplaceit.
OlisoIronshaveaverythicksoleplatewhichcreatesahighheatmass,
anditretainsastablehightemperature.Theheatistransferredevenly
throughthestainless-steelsoleplatetothefabricandcaneliminate
mostwrinklesinonepass.
Thereare3dierentsituaonswheretheOliso©SteamIron
willacvatetheautoshut-oforsafety.
TG 1600: Gen1 and Gen2
1. Horizontal Posion with the iTouch ON
Heatwillshutoidleuntouchedfor30minutes.
2. Vercal Posion with the iTouch ON
Heatwillshutoifleuntouchedfor30minutes.
3. Tilted Posion with iTouch ON or OFF
Heatwillshutoifleuntouchedfor30seconds.
First,unplugtheiron,lettheironcoolandthenwhileoverthesinkopen
thellportandlttheirontowardsthellportsowaterwillescape
into the sink.
Toremoveallthewaterconnuewiththefollowingsteps:
1. Heattheirontothecoon/linenfabricseng.
2. Oncetheironisfullyheated,unplugtheironandholditover
thesink,withthesoleplateaboveandfacingthesink.
3. Pressthesteambuonrepeatedlyunlwaterbeginstodrip
outofthesoleplate.CAUTION!Becareful,asthiscreates
large amounts of steam.
4. Connuerepeatedlypressingthesteambuonwhileover
thesinkunlallwaterisoutofthetankandnowateror
steamisproduced.
Insuchcases,pleasevalidatethewarrantyandthenreplaceit.
1. Whennotinusepleaseunplugtheironfromthewalloutlet.
2. Alwaysemptythewaterwhennotinuse,incasetheyneedto
keepthewaterinthatcaseyouneedtokeepthelegsraised,
notlegsretractedinside.
3. Neveruse100%dislledwater.
4. Whennotinuse,unplugfromthepoweroutlet,justdonotbe
dependentonautoshuto.Astheunitwillbeautoshuto
butthereisaconstantowofpowerwhenit’sconnectedto
thewall,whichcouldcauseirontomalfuncon.
5. Cleanthesole-platewhenyouthinkthesmoothnessisalileless.
6. Alwaysplugtheunitdirectlytothewalloutlet.

Pleasenotethatscorchedfabricoccurswhentheironhasbeensettoa
temperaturetoohotforthefabrictype,ortheironhasbeenleinone
placefortoolong.
It’sunlikelythattheironisoverheangcausingthescorching,asthe
temperatureiscontrolledelectronically,andtherearebuilt-infeaturesto
shutdownanoverheangiron.
FewpointstorememberwhileusingFabrics.
1. Ironshouldalwaysbeusedatthecorrecttemperatureforthe
fabricbeingironed.
2. Alotoffabricstodaycontainsomesynthecbers;nylon,rayon,
andlycra,whichmakesthemwrinklelesswhenwashedanddried.
3. Thesesynthecbersscorchatmuchlowertemperaturesthancoon
orlinenandthereforerequiretheirontobesetatalowertemperature
sotheyarenotdamaged.
4. Inafabricwithmixedbers,coon/Rayon,forexample,theiron
shouldbesettothelowesttemperaturefabric,whichwouldbe
‘synthec’forRayonandallman-madebers.
However,ifyouwanttoironmixedberorman-madefabricswithsteam
orahighertemperature,it’srecommendedtousea100%coonpressing
clothtoprotectthesynthecbers.

ofhardness)werecommendusingeither
inexpensiveboledwater,ormixinghalf
tapwaterwithhalfdislledwater.
• Toensureopmalsteamproducon,
thesteamvalveshouldbeclearedof
accumulateddebrisandminerals.Thisis
donebymovingthesteamselectorback
andforthfromthe‘o’to‘max’sengs
severalmes.
